Change your Handwriting...Change your Life

Graphotherapy is personal development or self growth through handwriting.

How does Graphotherapy  work?

Here is the information you need to get things moving...)

Every movement you make comes from your brain and your personality guiding your body how to move. 

You can recognize someone a long way away by the way they walk.  When you know someone extremely well, say, a family member, you can even identify them from hearing their footsteps on the stairs or outside a room door.

The reason in the body language of each of us is different and is determined by our personality.

Think if people you know well.  Think of the gestures and movements that are instantly recognizable to you as belonging to them.

It's all body language.

Handwriting is body language too.  The difference is that it leaves a permanent trail in the form of ink on paper. It's body language frozen in time.

In the same way as other body language is unique to you, your writing is also unique to you.

This does not mean you write in a different "style" from those you went to school with.  Unless you deliberately changed "style" your writing probably has many similarities to those who were taught to write in the same way you were taught.

However, within the "style", the strokes you create as your write, will be in different combinations and strengths from those of everyone else.

Not only that but your mood, your situation will change how you write.  That doesn't change your basic personality of course, but just as a photo of you today would not be identical to a photo of you tomorrow, your writing will change from day to day.  And just as the photo of you on those two different days would still be totally recognizable as you, your writing, changes and all, will still be uniquely you. 

If you are very happy or very sad, your writing will not be exactly the same.  If you are uptight or relaxed, your writing will tell.  And so will your writing tell your entire personality.

If you are sad and go through some thought exercises to cheer you up, you, hopefully, will feel happier. 

If you are sad and go through some writing exercises to cheer you up, exactly the same thing happens. 

But if you are going on just how you feel, you won't know you're sad till you are already in that state. 

If you are using Graphotherapy, you will see the signs in your handwriting before you actually feel sad - and if that was what you were using Personal Transformational Coaching for, to keep depression at bay, you could then work on your writing, and improve your mood before you got really down.

What Graphotherapy will not do is change the unchangeable.
For example, someone with a very low IQ is not going to become a genius by changing their writing.
It cannot improve your physical health
.

So if you are ready to juice up your life - try Graphotherapy!  It works!

The cost for your initial report and suggested changes through Graphotherapy is $50US.

You send in your writing telling me what it is you want to change, or what you are looking to achieve by the Graphotherapy.

I will look at your writing and send you instructions for writing exercises for the coming month.

You will then send me another sample of your writing whenever you feel you would like a "check up" to ensure you are not self-sabotaging by introducing other limiting traits into your writing. And I will send you a report on how the changes look to me, and give you a new set of instructions to follow for the coming month.

The cost of each "tune-up" is the same as for the initial evaluation: $50.00US

The reason for the check-up is that sometimes you may be over doing the changes, making them affect other areas of your life.  Or sometimes you develop compensating traits: as you take something out, your subconscious puts it back in somewhere else.

It is beneficial to have your writing monitored as long as you are engaging in Graphotherapy.

You are welcome to ask any questions or requests as you go through the process, so that it is fully tailored to your needs and wants.

To start your Self Improvement and Personal Growth through Graphotherapy:

First, write your sample - Leaning on a pad paper, with a ball point pen, on unlined paper, write a letter.

Write a letter as you would to a friend, just talking about anything that dos not have strong emotional influence upon you. 

bullet

It is important you are relaxed as you write. 

bullet

Sign the letter as you would to a friend.

bullet

Do not write a memorized poem, do not copy anything.

bullet

Do not try to do you "best" writing - better writing does not equal better analysis - or better personality. 

bullet

n fact if you try to "improve" your writing you may be introducing negative traits that are not normally present, or you may be squeezing out some positive ones.

bullet

Do not try to change your writing in any way. 

bullet

Firstly, I am assuming you do not already know graphology, so you probably don't know what you would want to change anyway! 

bullet

Secondly, it is obvious, in a whole page of writing, when the writer is writing naturally or not.

Write in script - do not print.  (If script is uncomfortable for you, send a sample of both your script and your printing.)

Send the sample to me - you can e-mail a scanned in sample, or you can contact me for an address to mail it to fionamackayyoung@shaw.ca

Include either as the actual writing sample itself, or in the email, a detailed description of your goals for the graphotherapy. The more detailed you are, the better able I am to help you.  I may email you with some questions should I be in doubt about your desired outcome.
